Orbs

I don't know what to make of the phenomena known as "orbs." While ghost hunters will take pictures and dub every ball of light they see paranormal in nature, the problem is that in experiments conducted by our team, much of the same result can be accomplished by spurring up dust and snapping a photo. Rain droplets can also make for false orbs as well and it is very hard to distinguish dust and rain from something that can actually be paranormal. What I look for are mainly two things; an accompanying vortex or an orb with a definite center.

Poltergeist Phenomena

There are many misconceptions regarding poltergeist activity. As defined in the "What are Ghosts" section, a poltergeist is not actually a ghost at all. Summarily, this phenomena will occur typically accompanying a young pre-pubescent girl. It is theorized that during this phase in her life (and it could also happen with males as well, but more commonly with females) psychokinetic energy is released in spurts, unknowingly and uncontrollably. This is usually found in the form of telekinesis. You might hear a knock on a wall or a picture might fall down. This is commonly mistaken for a ghost, however many times it is congruent with a ghost presence. Before an investigation, it should be clearly defined whether or not there is a possible poltergeist influence. This will aide in determining whether or not the building is haunted.

Blacklights

For some reason, during investigations, I have much success with a blacklight in illuminating a presence. UV light as its also called is a more intense form of EM energy. Because we believe life is energy and also because of the Law of Conservation of Energy, perhaps the more intense form of EM radiation is better absorbed by the presence, thereby giving it a steady and readily supply of energy.

Diamagnetism

This is relatively new for me and experiments have been limited. What it boils down to is attracting polarized electromagnetic energy. In typical science, an object can only remain levitated if it is balanced out with a north and south pole magnet. Diamagnetism uses only one supercharged pole and creates its own magnetic field for levitation. It is my belief that using this same concept, electromagnetic energy can be attracted to a diamagnetic field, thereby holding it in place. Any supernatural presence in the direct vicinity should be attracted towards it.
